We were asked to write an essay called “This I Believe” about what really matters to us, as preparation for this world missions adventure called the World Race. This is what I believe…
You can look at this physical world and it’s plain to see that one of the most influential things in our lives is money. Everything that we do or have, has some sort of $ value. Some people soar through life with financial stability and yet others are bound to it by chains of poverty, debt, greed or lust.

As Christians, we have an understanding that the way God governs His Kingdom is far different from this. It is a righteous and morally fit place, where the leaders are the servants, humbly serving a body of people. The foundations of our homes are built with truth and honor, and the currency rate isTHROUGH THE ROOF! It’s endless! What I’m talking about is FAITH! The Bible tells us that God has dealt to us all a measure of faith (Rom. 12:2-3) and the very nature of God’s Kingdom is to INCREASE. There is no end (Isaiah 9:7), from Faith to Faith (Rom. 1:17).

We all operate in accordance to the faith we believe we have. Myself, for example when I pray for healing for someone or myself, I pray with confidence that God wants to heal! (Did Jesus ever turn someone away without healing them?) In Essence I have just signed and handed over a “Kingdom Check” to my Father, Jehovah Rapha (The Lord who heals Ex. 15:26, Ps. 103:3) with a face value equaling that of my faith! (Sometimes I don’t make the check out for the proper amount – but God hooks me up! He can’t help but give me what I need) So, God being the God that He is, will give me a receipt for my request in the form of confirmation of His will. It varies every time, for example a scripture verse to claim, a picture from His heart to mine, etc. I hold tight to that receipt until my “faith purchased” package arrives in due time. Sometimes I have to get out my “receipt” or what I feel is His confirmation to me, and show God what I purchased, NOT because He needs to be reminded but to let Him know that I have not forgotten and moved on.
When the answer to prayer comes, or my “Faith package” arrives, there’s always a little extra gift that comes with it – MORE FAITH! My Faith has now doubled because God honored the fact that I stepped out with an unseen faith (Heb.11:1), believing and hoping that something will happen, and believing that God is faithful to His children.
This whole Kingdom almost seems to be backwards, I know… but it works! The more Faith we give out, the more it increases, and the more it increases, more often will revelations begin popping up and meshing into our lifestyle. Revelation gives birth to more faith! WOW and it keeps going!
Revelation… that’s a whole other blog for another day.
Matt. 17:20
Jesus replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
… hmm, so I wonder… really, how big is this mountain called “support raising”?
meh, who cares – IT’S MOVING ANYWAY!
