He is my strength, my life, my breath.

Your father, provider, God knows your needs. He sees you in the valleys. I will praise him during the climb. For on either side of a valley is a mountain so you must climb the mountain to leave the valley.

As you climb out of the valley you will get tired. You will run out of breath. You might get sick. You will get hungry. (Our Lord provides for the birds in the air and the fish in the sea so how much more will he provide for you. Luke 12:22-34)  You will get dirty. But even more, you will get to walk through a new place.

You will get to see beautiful flowers you have never seen. You get to stand in awe of the beauty of a sunset you’ve never seen before. You will get to experience the excitement you feel when you catch a glimpse of an animal you’ve never seen. You will bathe in the cool crystal rivers that stream down the mountains. “But the rivers are muddy” you say? Keep climbing! The higher you get, the clearer the waters because there is less dirt being washed down.

So climb. At the top of the mountain is the most breath taking view you will ever see. There, there is rest. There is calm. There is open air. Fresh air to BREATH

So climb and keep climbing. Keep climbing towards Gods kingdom. Keep asking for the things you need. God is not waiting for you at the top of the mountain. He is walking with you, cheering you on, fighting for you. Trying to remind you that you CAN make it, you are a perseverer! He is for you. If you do the climbing he will do the providing.

The Lord can be your strength, you life, your breath!
