Hey Friends and Family,
Here is a much needed update on my month in India!
India proved to be a month like none other, and to be quite frank I am still processing through everything that happened! The strongholds that the devil has there are heavy! There is such a hopelessness in the eyes of the ones who don't have the hope of Jesus… The primary source for my hope!
Our ministry for the month was prayer. We went village to village praying for everyone! At the end of the night there was a gospel meeting. Each gospel meeting was very similar; the Indians started the meeting with songs in their language, we sang songs in English, we shared a message from the word, and then they closed the meeting. When the meeting was over we prayed over each person who wanted prayer! This was the schedule for the entire month, every evening. (minus our rest days)
Over the month I literally saw people who couldn’t speak begin to speak. I saw people who couldn’t walk stand up and walk pain free. My personal favorite was this elderly lady that we were praying over. She came up to us doubled over in pain and by the end of the prayers she bent over and touched her toes pain free. It was so AMAZING! Each healing was ended with a loud shout of thanks… HALLEJUJAH!!!
I need to tell you about little fourteen year old Agape! He was a doll. At the end of one of our meetings Agape came up to me and asked me to pray over him because he wants to be a missionary when he gets older. The boy has a fierce passion for the Lord at 14. I can’t imagine where God will take him as he gets older. I ask you to pray on his behalf. In a world that is full of Hindu Idols it would be easy to slip. Pray that God protects his heart from all the evil schemes of this world.
