Today I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity. It's a home for women of all ages with special needs. The first thing to hit me when I walked through the door was wow this is intense, but after saying hello to the women and seeing them smile my heart came alive. Some are able to have conversations with you in English like Lucy and Cecelia. Others can only smile at you. While the severity and what disablitly they have varies from woman to woman I found myslef wanting to love on them all.

I had the honor of being able to feed Susan her lunch and we made each other laugh. She knows a few
words in English and I know a few words in Swahili so we just laughed a lot. She had one of the most beautiful smiles I had ever seen. Then I got to talk to Cecelia. She is 21 and was helping feed the other woman. She has been at the home since she was little and she definitely knows how much the Father loves her.

I can't wait to go back next Thursday and do it again. Hopefully next time we can do physical therapy with them!
