Cambodia meet Angela. I think you two will be very good friends.
My team has made it to Preah Vihear, Cambodia. I love it here despite not having a whole lot. The five of us girls live in a cool house on stilts. Alana and I have our own rooms complete with netted beds and fans. Alana and Haile are sharing a room and have the same set up as me and Alana. Nikki has set up her tent in the main room under the provided net to give herself some more privacy. We have a western toilet and we have to take bucket showers, but at least the water is cool and "clean". Durning the day we camp out under our house because in the house becomes unbearable even with the fans due to the heat. April is Cambodia's hottest month with temperatures reaching to the 100s. The boys are staying in the house where the church is located and they have similar accommodations.
This month will be simple living in a simple town, but I think this is what I have needed after 6 months of nothing, but city life. It gets old really quickly if you grew up in the country like I have. Our main transportation is riding around on bicycles which will help burn off all the calories we ate back in Malaysia. Access to the internet is a bit difficult so please don't worry if I don't post blogs as much as I have in the past. I promise to post pictures soon. I love it here. I love the people. I love our contacts.I love the food. I'm excited about this month and a little sad its one of our shortest months. Well until I can write up a good blog that's all I have for now. Thank you for all of your prayers. Please keep them coming! Miss you all and I am sending my love your way!
