Hello! I am still alive and doing well. I must apologize for not keeping up on my blogs. There is a lot to be said and a lot to share. I can’t wait to share it with you all. So please stay tuned because more are coming.
I don’t even know how to begin to describe debrief. Debrief, for those who may not know, is a time where our entire squad comes together and just spends time together, we sit down with our support coaches and squad leaders as a team and discuss what we have done and where we are after the first couple of months. Our first debrief was held in the beautiful city of Granada, Nicaragua.

other put extra money in his account to take our entire team out for a nice dinner. We went to El Zaguan and ate chicken alfredo, filet mingon, steak, and other pastas. Unfortunately none of us realized how fancy the restaurant was until wegot there, but we are all in our world race travel day best.Thank you so much Mac’s mom, it was super yummy!

All the teams made up thanksgiving skits and we performed them for each other. Team lovebound won with our Pocahontas skit. We lip sang and danced to “Colors of the Wind”. The night was hosted by two very special guests. 😀

We split up and had girl time and guy time. The boys went to Mama C and Pappy’s hotel pool and smoked cigars while the girls went to Hotel Granada’s saltwater pool and had fun just being silly and catching up.

Allan put together the first ever World Race Panqueque 5K. You could walk it or run it and after every mile there was a station you had to stop at to eat a pancake before continuing the race. It was a great success!

On Saturday we had a free day. Some people went to a chocolate museum, some to a tobacco plantation tour, some even stayed back and did nothing, but rest. I went with 9 people to do a “canopy tour” aka zip lining over the jungle/coffee plantation. It was so much fun!
It was sad to leave everyone on Sunday, but when our squad comes together big things happen. After this month we are back together to fly to the Philippines. Please keep us in your prayers and thanks so much for your love and support!
