Welcome to my life…

The Lord is really teaching me about trusting in Him in my every day life, thats not always the easy thing to do. It is way easier to freak out and wonder how “I” am going to fix things, or what “I” am going to do now but I think I am learning, I am not perfect and defiantly still have my freakout moments, but I am learning.  Last night I found out that my car has officially been put out of commission. A part has broken on the car due to old age that will cost an arm and a leg to fix, so its time to say goodbye to my car. This comes as a huge blow to me as I have just returned from a summer of traveling. The whole missions thing, living your life for Jesus just does not pay that well ( money wise that is). Some days it makes me question why I do this, but the Lord continues to remind me that He has big plans.  So I am believing in faith that God will provide all my needs… Including a “new” (to me) car.

In Matthew chapter 6 it talks about not worrying, this is one of my favorit chapters because its so true. We don’t have to spend all of our time stressing over how will I pay my bills? or how will I get a car to go to work? because the Lord already has a plan in place to take care of all of my needs, and yours. Sometimes I just need a good reminder of this.

Today I choose to trust God, I choose to walk in faith that my Heavenly Father has great things in store and that He will provide for all my needs. I choose not to stress out, that does not help me at all so I choose to not walk in that. I choose to walk in freedom and not worry today. As my grandma would have said, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I ___________(your name) will rejoice and be glad in it. I hope you will choose today as a day of freedom in the Lord by walking in faith with your full trust in Him.

Matthew 6:25-34

25 That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday lifewhether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isnt life more than food, and your body more than clothing?26 Look at the birds. They dont plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And arent you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

28 And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They dont work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

31 So dont worry about these things, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God[d] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

34 So dont worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Todays trouble is enough for today.
