Tonight our church here hosted a youth prayer movement. They meet once a month at a different church each month and pray for Cambodia. It was awesome to see over 100 young people coming together in one place to lift up there country in prayer. They already have similar meetings in 5 of the 24 provinces of Cambodia. And they are praying that by the end of 2010 that they will have one in every province.

It was so great to be able to see then so excited about praying for their country. They weren’t here because this was the social event of the week, or because it was Sunday night and they didn’t have anything else to do. They were here because they get it. They see that their country needs God and needs prayer to make that happen.

The room was packed they brought in extra chairs and people were still standing in the back and outside. We started with some worship, awesome rock and roll worship Cambodian style. Then they talked for about a minute about why we were there and went right into prayer. We prayed for the youth and that they would come to know the Lord. We prayed for the government of Cambodia, the people of  Haiti and the believers in Malaysia that are being persecuted. It reminded me of the
power that the youth have here and around the world. It made me excited for this place because the majority of the population here is young and if they sell out for the Lord, its all over, we’ll see revival in Cambodia like we have never seen anywhere in the world.
