24 hours with Jesus in Boise, Idaho

One of the first things I did after getting to Boise was have dinner with a good friend of mine. I haven’t spent a lot of time in life with him, but we’ve always understood each other because of our similar backgrounds and God has always helped me encourage him in his faith. Last night I begin to share with him the love of God and talked about healings and these prophetic images that I’ve been drawing for people and God has given me about peoples lives. He like a lot of christians(myself included in times past) is a skeptic, understandable, we live in a show me generation. He doesn’t know about the whole healing or prophetic images thing much like a lot of people. So he asked me to pray and get an image from God for him and he handed me a napkin and said “draw!” Okay, “go get me a pen”. He left for a few seconds and came back with a pen and while he was gone God shared with me an image of a bowling ball. After explaining what everything meant and what God showed me about his life through this bowling ball, my buddies eyes were opened! There are no coincidences when God has your number and an image is given by someone that explains what’s going on in your life. I’m fully believing my friends life is completely transformed by the reality of the gospel, the love of God, and the simplicity and finished work of the cross. It’s changed me, so I know it can change anyone!

After dinner with him I had to meet another friend because we were heading over to a ladies house who has been dying of cancer. We headed over to her house and went into the master bedroom where this beautiful lady in her 40s was bed ridden. She is extremely skinny and weak, but she’s strong in her faith in a God that has healed her before and can do it again! I was honored to hold this womans hand and pray healing into her body. Her two young daughters and husband joined with us as we made a circle hand in hand and asked the God of the impossible, for the impossible. There was such a peaceful presence of God in that place, it was an amazing spirit of peace. I shared with the woman that I saw an image of her dancing in a beautiful garden as the sun shone brightly on her. As I was speaking she gently squeezed my hand in affirmation of what I saw. I was humbled by her and her families complete faith in the healing power of Jesus. God has already amazed the doctors with her treatment and although she’s had some complications lately, I’m believing God for a complete and total healing in her body! It is an honor to pray for the sick, God thank you for this opportunity, I look forward to more like it. Cancer is no match for Jesus, and in my life I will see it crushed by the power of God!

After praying for that woman we headed over to another house and prayed for a young family that I’ve known for a while. The woman of the house is actually the woman who posted the craigslist add that I found almost 3 years ago that lead me to a church here in Boise. The family was suffering with bronchitis and felt better after we prayed. Thank you Father.

Last night after we prayed for those people my friend had to head home so I headed to walmart to get some things and wait for a friend of mine to get off work. I got to pray for a young man while we both looked for the best deodorant money could buy. As I was leaving walmart I was walking behind an elderly woman who was in a lot of pain and was being escorted by her daughter. She stopped right in front on me on her way to her car and said she couldn’t continue to walk because the pain was so bad. I chimed in “can I pray for you?!”. She responded with “No, no, no, no, no!” but her daughter was nodding her head and saying “yes, yes, yes!”. So I told her I wouldn’t even touch her but simply have her daughter put her hand on her back and I would say a prayer. Boom! Pain gone, and she continued walking to her car pain free! JESUS!!

So last but not least, this morning I was invited to a church in Nampa, Idaho called Higher Ground Worship Center. If you are in the Treasure Valley and need a good home church, head out there for a visit. These people are radical lovers of Jesus and believe in the miraculous power of God. The pastor asked me to share a few stories of the healings that I have seen recently and pray for the sick right there in the service. Before I went up there to share, I got a word of knowledge for a right knee and specifically a right knee cap that was loose or all messed up. As soon as I said that a lady immediately raised her hand and came forward. I prayed for her knee which had a brace on it and after the prayer she said “I feel like taking this knee brace off.” I told her that she should cause God just healed her, and so she did, and God completely healed her knee! No more pain, no more walker, or knee brace after 5 years of dealing with a messed up knee! God is an amazing Father!
