I’ve had an amazing last week. AMAZING! God is INCREDIBLE! Currently I am in Redding California and have spent the last 3 days at Bethels School of Supernatural Ministry(BSSM). If you ever have a chance to come out here and spend a few days in some classes, do it, it’ll change your life. I won’t go into a lot of details, but Bethel church has created a Kingdom culture here and everywhere you go around here people are full of the Spirit of God. And they allow God to speak in and through them in numerous incredible ways. Which brings me to the point of this blog.
Over the last week I have had numerous prophetic words given to me by Bethel students from BSSM that I met up in Klamath Falls at the power and love conference, as well as students and people here at Bethel church this last Sunday. I was actually “introduced” to prophetic art by some students after the Sunday morning service at Bethel. The images they drew for me and the words they had for me from God were amazing! So, what nearly everyone of these people(4 or more) shared with me was that God showed them I have an artistic ability….excuse me?! I’m a meat head, I can’t draw to save my life! But You are God and whatever you say goes.
So, I did what any other person should do after hearing from God, I took Him at His Word. Yesterday I bought some colored pencils and a notepad, and what happened? Someone in class asked to borrow a pencil and they drew me a picture and through it they gave me a prophetic word!!(This is the norm here in this culture by the way and it should be, everyone can prophesy and 1 Corinthians 14:1 says we should desire to) The image she drew touched me and captivated my heart. Once again I was amazed that God would show me so much through a simple drawing. So today, during class I started to doodle, and 2 students that were sitting in front of me asked me to draw something for them. Great…. my amazing art was going to be on display for all to see. I wasn’t sure about this, but as soon as they asked I immediately got an image for one of the girls, and after I finished her drawing I got an image for the other. After I drew out the image God gave me it’s meaning and what it represented for each girl. Check em out:

I was surprised that I got prophetic words out of the art that I drew, but quickly realized I shouldn’t be that surprised at all, God speaks to me through images for people all the time. This way of prophesying was really new for me so I mentioned it to my friend Sarah. Sarah White is a girl who is on my team for the World Race. Guess what she did?! She asked for one too!! Oh man, more?! LoL I know I had to, so tonight I sat at Borders, and God gave me an image for her, and He gave me specifics and what the image represented. She responded with what it meant to her and I’ve listed her response below:

THIS IS WHAT I TOLD HER ABOUT WHAT GOD SAID THE IMAGE MEANT
"The rainbow represents your uniqueness, multi faceted and talented. God wanted me to choose the colors green, yellow, red, blue and in that order. Green represents the earth, blue water, red and yellow are the sun(Son) which is the center of life. The rainbow has no ends and goes of the pages, so are the promises of God for you. The flower represents you and the beautiful girl God has created. You are under the rainbow as life revolves around the sun and the beauty of the earth surrounds you. I say surround because although rainbows are half moons, if you could see them fully they actually form a circle. There are 4 petals on the flower and no leaves. The 4 petals represent the 4 seasons, and just as the world has seasons I believe you have too. If you think back I reckon you'll recall them. New seasons, seasons of growth, seasons of starting over, and seasons that renew. If you trace
the petals they all end in the same place, the center. Seasons come and go, but the strength of the flower is in it's core. There is strength in your core, it's Truth. The stem of the flower swooshes left. We read write to left and see things in motion left to write. It appears the flower is running, not running from, but running to heh heh go Jesus! Boom!"
THIS IS HER RESPONSE TO WHAT I SENT HER
Wow! Tears of joy. Ha ha ahh so good! It's funny that He told you those colors in that order. I've gone through "seasons" of colors in a way throughout my life. Grew up with a light green room as a little girl, then phased to gold (yellow kinda) and red, and now I'm at brown and light blue. Haha the kitchen in my apt also went from bright bright yellow to red in just one year. I love change. I am constantly changing what attracts my eye (color wise) because I am an artist, and thats kinda what we do . Also, I've definitely been through four season of life for sure. The first season was when I was 10 years old and accepted Christ at Kanakuk Camp (or as we called it, camp of the Rising Son! hehe). The next season was growing in Him more throughout middle school, until during high school and college, I really lost sight of the Lord. THEN, I prayed a prayer I will always remember. I asked God to get me out of this country, and bring me to a new place, somewhere with a different culture, different people, and just new in general. I love change like I said, and I wanted to renew my relationship with Christ in a new, profound kind of way. I wanted to get to know Him more, but I wasn't quite sure how. The world race is a fresh start on my life, to love people the way I've been called to my whole life, and discover this amazing world the Lord made for us!! Then the last thing– At training camp, I had a very specific vision of Christ holding his arms out wide, probably a football field distance away from me. He wasn't walking toward me, but coaxing me to run to Him! He is my core now! I am looking forward at seasons of renewal! I am dead to myself, and I'm never turning back!! Running towards Him everyday and jumping into His arms! God is so good!
After I sent Sarah her picture I got another one for a girl at Borders that was sitting at a table just a few feet from me. I drew what I saw which was a flower, and I gave it to her and told her this is what God thinks of her, then I walked away. ha ha It’s fun leaving people with what God thinks of them because it only gives them two choices. They can either reject the image, or talk to Him about it!
This has been an incredibly amazing day of learning and my last story and picture for the day just happened. I just got to this cool place in town called Grilla Bites, if you are ever in Redding check it out, this place is AMAZING and the food is wonderful! When I walked in a lady asked me about my shirt, I’m wearing this awesome “Goonies Forever” shirt. We talked Goonies for a bit, and after talking with her for a bit, God gave me an image for her. I didn’t want her to leave so I told her before I drew it. Come to find out, she’s the owner of Grilla Bites! LoL God you’re funny. So I ended up drawing it out for her and what God gave me about it. She said that it was awesome how God spoke through it and I got to pray with her as well. The neat thing is everything God does has meaning. Even the 3 sails of the ship, there are 3 people in her household! She also told me that last night they were talking about boats and ships at their small group 🙂 Plus God hooked me up with a notepad that you can draw on the top half of the page and write the word in the bottom half ha ha God you’re so amazing!! Love you Dad. Here’s her picture:

So what does this all mean?! It means God is amazing and unique, and He’s the creator of the universe. He can speak however and whenever He wants to! I’ve decided that I am adding art supplies to my World Race packing trip. I’m also bringing sidewalk chalk. Why chalk? Well I believe I’m going to use it and draw shapes like circles on the street and when people walk into the circle, God will heal them! Ha ha ha ha You can think whatever you want, Gods a healer, and He can heal people however He wants to. I’ll see if I can record on camera when God heals people in the circles He has me draw, that way all you skeptics will be less skeptical…. Moral of the story, I’m an artist simply because the Holy Spirit resides in me and He’s the Creator of it all!
