I I have been worried about fundraising for The World Race since before I applied. Being told that I need to ask people for $15,500 is not an easy task, and being told that God will provide did little to settle my worries. In my heart I know that He will take care of His people. He has proven Himself to me with fundraising in my recent trip to Minnesota. Yet now I find myself stressing over a few hundred dollars that I still need by May 5th. I find myself thinking of this verse found in Matthew:

"And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?"
Now I know that I am much more precious than the wildflowers to the Lord. I know that God has called me to go overseas with Adventures in Missions on The World Race. I still allow myself to worry about a few hundred dollars. To those of you reading this I ask that you lift this up to Him in prayer. Please pray that I come to a mental understanding of this.
