So I am now in Swaziland staying in the mountains at an organization called El Shaddai. It houses 49 kids aged up to 19. The first night I arrived I was paired with a buddy that I will be spending time with for the next month. His name is Verner and he is 16 years old. He is very shy and doesn’t talk much, but I do know that his passion is cooking which makes perfect sense because he wants to become a chef. He hopes to go to college to study culinary arts. Verner loves to play soccer; and listening to music. He has dreams just like all of the kids at El Shaddai, unfortunately most of them have the same problem. They don’t have sponsors, the odd thing is that to sponsor one of the kids here at El Shaddai is only $40 a month not even the cost to fill your cars gas tank back home. If you have the passion to sponsor Verner or any child here at El Shaddai you can visit : www.james127.org

Recently I have learned how expensive it can get out of my own personal budget. There are a lot of things that I need my own money for such as basic living supplies like toothpaste, soap, clothes, etc. Also, travel expenses into town which is a two hour cab ride (that's the nearest town!!) there and back. Or money that I just happen to give away to bless someone… the beggar in the market, the young man on the pier. If you would like to help me financially it would be greatly appreciated and a huge blessing to me. You can do so by giving funds to my mother, Sue Brunette, or sending a check to 246 Hixville rd, North Dartmouth, MA 02747. If I could receive $100 per month I would have all the money I needed to last me the rest of the trip! Thank you so much for your support and prayers.
