We’ve been in Bangkok, Thailand for the past couple days for our “debrief.â€  Basically this is a time for our entire squad to come together and do whatever we need to do to replenish.  Our “coachesâ€ from the U.S. are here with us, meeting with each team; there has been some teaching, worship, and fun!

This has also been a period of transition for our squad and definitely for me.  I’ve been asked to move out of the “logisticsâ€ role and into a “team leaderâ€ position for the men.  I’m very excited and nervous for this opportunity, especially since next month is “MANistryâ€ month meaning all the men will be forming a team.  I am pushing for “No Shave Novemberâ€ especially since I have a big head start on the other men; I’m actually starting to look pretty dirty and might be confused with the true homeless of Thailand!

For ministry this month, we will be heading to Chiang Mai to work with an organization called Remember Nhu.  From my understanding, the ministry has a “preventative approachâ€ to the child sex trafficking war happening around the world.  Most of their efforts are directed at keeping at-risk children from ever being sold into the hell of sexual slavery.  The link below will take you to a video on the ministry as well as the website…

This is something new to me and most the other men on my team.  Sex trafficking is something I’ve always heard about, but never really been faced with personally.  With this in mind, please keep us ALL in prayer this month as we will definitely need it!!  We are very excited to do whatever we can to see good triumph over evil…
