Where do I begin…this past week has been very hectic! Our team has been bouncing around quite a bit from ministry to ministry. In the last post, I mentioned that our team was working with a business owner in Kuala Lumpur, who uses his restaurant for ministry purposes. We left there about a week ago to work with one of his pastor friends. His friend, pastor Tony, runs a food distributing company, for ministry purposes, in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. They grow the food in the jungles of Malaysia, where many very poor, indigenous Malaysians live. The business utilizes the people in the jungle to help grow crops, hoping to create a sustainable life for them!

(Taking a break from working on the cooler, with our new moostaches..)
We helped Pastor Tony and his business/family move into a new building down the street from where they were currently living and working out of. Part of our job was to reconstruct a cooler in their new office (where they could store the vegetables and produce from the farms). This turned out to be much more difficult and dangerous than anticipated, especially since little guidance was offered, but it was a success!!

(Tractor ride to the farm, deep in the jungle!)
From the city, we were sent to the Malaysian Jungles to live among the poor farmers and villagers. Even though we didn’t really have electricity or a shower and ate primarily white rice and began to smell towards the end of the week, living there was such a blessing for us. All sense of time and schedules seemed to be non-existent and our team was able to really enjoy living amongst the locals and “doing life with them. Each day brought new adventures, as we didn’t know where or to whom the day would take us. The pictures below will give you an idea of some of the things we experienced:

(Helping the farmers with the crops…Seed to Harvest = 45 days!)

(The villagers cooked us a nice lunch…we sit on the ground and use our hands to eat ha)

(The church we have been staying at in the jungle!)

(Praying for the sick..we have seen miracles!! Puji Tujan = “Praise The Lord”)
(Bathing in the river, trying to avoid the leeches!)

(I even got the opportunity to preach to the jungle locals, with a translator)
(And of course, the kids! Hundreds of kids everywhere we go, following us..carrying our water bottles, fanning us, cleaning our dirty sandals, hanging on us..so precious!)
This week was amazing…It has been awesome to see how God takes care of the poorest of the poor in this world! Right now, my team and I are replenishing in the city before we head back to the Jungle on Tuesday night for another week of _________!
I love you all and thank God for all my supporters and those praying for me back home as this is very necessary!!
God Bless!!
