We have been in
Nakuru, Kenya for about a week now and it has been a good week.  I have been able to spend each morning with
the children at the school and I am growing to love them all so much, especially
the kindergarteners.  I have made some
new friends who come and find me each morning.
Sam and Frank are adorable and two very sweet little boys.  I have also been able to help out in the
kitchen cooking lunch after the kids go to class from recess.  I have learned how to fry beans African
style.

We were also able
to be a part of the monthly revival that was held at our church here.  We got to do a few songs of worship which was
good.  I bought a djembe drum back in
Nairobi and I have been learning to play it.
It takes some time, but I’m getting it and enjoying it quite a bit.  This weekend I am going to be preaching a
message at another local church.  Pray
for me in that, that God uses me and that I’m bold and not scared to speak.

Saturday we were
able to spend the morning at a crater.
It was massive and beautiful.
Tash, Rachael, Luann, and I climbed partway down to explore a bit and
then we spent time on the top enjoying God’s creation, and journaling.  It was a great way to spend the morning.

An update to my
race route in case you didn’t see it on the front page of the web site is that
we no longer are having Ask The Lord months.
Instead we have been told where we are heading.  Next month we will be in Tanzania then
Uganda.  We will spend about a week in
Ireland for The Awakening then heading to Romania, Moldova, and finishing in
the Ukraine.  I’m pretty excited about
our new route, but also ready for it to maybe change again.  You never know this is The World Race after
all!
