As the year wraps up (as well as the presents that are to be placed under a beautiful tree), and tax season is right around the corner, I’d love to give you a financial update on how I’m doing.
So far I’ve raised exactly $10,290.93 leaving $5,209.07 yet to be raised by January 1st.
Here’s 11 reasons why YOU should donate towards my race:
11. I’ve reached my half-way point of my race. Meaning if I haven’t died or given up yet, I’m strong enough to finish (with God’s refuge of course!)
10. Instead of trying to package a gift and it possibly getting lost in the mail, a simple click on the “suppoort Me!” link on the left and filling in of a few boxes will ensure your gift is securely made and delivered. 🙂
9. God has called me on the race, and He can use YOU to keep me here.
8. So far I’ve been able to feed the hungry, teach children, love like Jesus loved, go into places “normal” people would avoid (due to smell, hygiene, misc.) all for the Kingdom of God and YOUR contribution helps me keep doing this!
7. Look at how peaceful your life has been for the past 5 1/2 months without me chatting your ear off. Donate and you can keep me away for another 5 1/2 months. 😉
6. You can stop seeing me ask for money on my statuses and blogs!
5. Need a tax-deduction? PERFECT 😀 If you send in a donation before Jan 1st, you can add it as a deduction when you file your taxes in 2013. Say what?!?!
4. A donation through this site (or by mail) saves you money!! How? You save on gas from going to the store and buying me a gift. AND you save wrapping paper. Save the trees!! (haha)
3. Santa thinks Asia is too hot this year and told me to ask YOU for a present instead!
2. God is teaching me a lot through this trip and through each ministry we’re a part of. By donating, YOU can take credit for helping me with this change. Trust me, you won’t recognize me when I get back!
1. If through reading this, any of my previous blogs, or any other reason of why you’re here right now has tugged on you and you can’t seem to just want to walk away and say “no” to this, God may be tugging at you to donate. So if anything, definitely pray and share if you would like as well. 🙂
