Welcome to my mind. Fair warning: it is rather scattered.

I can't believe that a week from today I'll be in Cambodia. It feels like just yesterday I left the Philippines and arrived in Thailand. Needless to say: this month has gone by fast.

I forgot to mention that we had team changes in the beginning of this month. The Lord has chosen to keep me in an all-women's team with five other wonderful sisters. We've been living on the fourth floor of a Christian Cafe in the edge of the Red Light District of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

As I've previously mentioned as well, our team was chosen by Jesus to be a part of bar ministry this month. Basically, we went out, hung out with the women at the bars, love them as Jesus would, have no agenda, and pretty much just treat them as the amazing and beautiful women God created them to be. Super legit, right??

We've had great nights, okay nights, and nights where we just had no clue what to do; but Jesus always showed up someway, somehow.

This month has been a month of intimacy, a month of vulnerability, and a month of being true. I've had to make the daily choice to say "yes" to Jesus in a way I never had before. How, you ask? Well, before I didn't want to accept God's truth about me so I couldn't say "yes" daily because I didn't even believe He loved me enough to want me to be with Him everyday. We've been talking a lot and it's been nothing short of wonderful. He's pushing me, challenging me, encouraging me, strengthening me, and holding me every moment of every day.

Anyways, overall it's been a fantastic month. Thailand is slowly but surely winning over all of my heart. (Almost, if not just over, as much as I love Honduras!)

I'll be posting a spoken word (video I hope) soon! And by soon, I mean in like three days. (check out the blog post that inspired me here)! God sure has been pushing me to open up to the arts again and pushing me to use my voice more. I'll probably post about that, too, sometime.

So, for now, enjoy this video I made from the Festival of Lights in Thailand earlier this month. AKA: see the lanterns from Tangled but with real life people. 🙂

P.S. I am still currently about $5,300 short of my FINAL deadline. If you want to help me with this or want to check out how: please click the Donate/Support Me!!!!!!! 🙂 tab on the left. Merci Beaucoup!
