As I promised, here is a picture of my new team that I joined at the beginning of the month!

It has been a transitional month of getting to know my new team and stepping into a leadership role. God has been teaching me to draw from His strength and wisdom.
All of us team leaders have come to Nairobi a few days early for a leadership retreat. It has been a great time of fellowship and encouraging each other. Our teams arrive tomorrow and I can’t wait to see them!
Of course, now that you’ve seen my new team, I have to tell you that my team just for the month of April is going to be different! April is unique in that all the men get together for a month of “Manistry”, and all the women get to choose what ministry they want to do regardless of the teams we’re currently on. I will be leading an AMAZING team of women (the other female team leaders and squad leaders) in Phuket, Thailand. We will be working with SHE Ministry and I’ll have to share more details once we get there and get settled. I have been looking forward to Thailand since the beginning of the Race, so I’m just a little bit excited that it’s right around the corner!
