In honor of Mother’s Day I decided to dedicate this blog to my mom, Elaine.
Dear Mom,
Thank you. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being one of my best friends. Thank you for buying me candy at the store even when I didn’t deserve it when I was a little girl. Thank you for sewing all my clothes when I was little and for letting me pick out the fabric. (Even though some of the things I wore were interesting…but I guess they were the style back then.) 
Thank you for taking me shopping every year before school to get new school clothes. Thank you for doing my laundry and cooking for me. Thank you for making me snap peas, cut green beans, husk corn, and cut strawberries. (even though we complained about it EVERY time).
Thank you for supporting me in all my life decisions I have made so far. Thank you for not always telling me what to do even when I wanted you to make the decision for me. Thank you for being a listening ear when I needed to vent about life. Thank you for being a Godly example to me and to Derek and Corey. Thank you for all the late night chats when I would come home from college. (I always looked forward to that when I would come home…just imagine how long we will talk when I get home from the Race! ).
So basically, thank you for EVERYTHING! You and dad have done so much for me and I can’t thank you enough for that. So Happy Mother’s Day! I love you!
