extreme, especially if it’s in regards to the way I’m trying to live my life for
Christ.

If we are
out of our mind, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ’s love compels
us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all
died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live
for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. ~ 2 Cor
5: 13-15
Throughout
this last year especially, I’ve learned to let the Lord take the lead in
coordinating my plans. Sure, I can make
my own but just as Proverbs 16:9 says, In their hearts humans plan their
course, but the LORD guides their steps. I want the Lord to guide my steps.
Throughout
the race, we were constantly at a place of surrendering it all to the Lord and
trusting that He would take care of us. To put it
simply, I’ve gotten very comfortable not knowing where I was going next. This way of thinking has stuck with me.
I am so ridiculously grateful for
the opportunity I had to go on the race and serve the Lord around the world and
to develop a deep and intimate relationship with Him in the midst of it all. Adventures in Missions (AIM), the
organization I went with, has proven time and time again to be a passionate,
honest and powerful venue that the Lord has been using to empower our
generation to take a stand, walk in the authority the Lord has given and start
living out the gospel.
** … From everyone who has been given much, much will be
demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be
asked. ~ Luke 12:48
Since I
can remember, I’ve felt the calling to be a part of something much bigger than
myself. The WR was the first step in
pursuing that dream. The next step I
feel led in is to partner with AIM over the next year, beginning in September
2011. I will be working within the
Admissions Department talking with the men and women of our generation as they
pray into their next step with the Lord. Without the
men and women working within AIM day in and day out, the WR and other mission
trips offered would not be possible. Without people like you offering your support,
all of this would not be possible.
Of course the Lord continues to put us in situations
where we have to rely and depend on Him, so this is a time when I am praying to
Him and looking to you for support. First and foremost, I am asking for your
continued prayers as I follow God into the unknown.
I’d
also like to humbly ask you to partner with me financially either through
one-time donations or monthly donations. For this one year commitment with Adventures in Missions, I need to
raise $10,000. The funds will be made just as donations were for my World Race trip,
but these will be paid directly to me for living expenses.
In
order to start this new position, I need of raising $2,000 prior to my start in
September. Every dollar counts.
I’ve seen God do amazing things. I believe He’s calling me to serve Him alongside
AIM as hundreds of missionaries are sent out into the world. I know that He’ll provide. Please pray about this, and if you feel led, I’d
be honored for you to partner with me once again on this new journey. You can support me by check or by clicking, ‘Support
me’ on the righthand side of this website.
continue to spread His Kingdom “on earth as it is in Heaven”.
I
have a plan for you. It’s gonna be wild,
it’s gonna be great, it’s gonna be full of Me. – God

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap a
harvest if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do
good to all people… ~ Galatians 6:9-10
