Crazy Amazing…the two words I use most when describing my time here at training camp. Since day one it has been crazy how immediately my team has meshed like we’ve literally known each other for years.   I’m sure it helps that we all have one huge common connection, the desire to know God more and see Him works in ways we’ve never known or could ever imagine. Quick summary of what we’ve been doing- had an amazing time of worship the past few days, gotten to know God on an entirely different level than I have before, eaten some …not so delicious meals (fish and rice soup for breakfast anyone? Don’t worry I got it all down by being creative- nothing like a fish soup drinking contest at 8am! Sadly I lost..Jenny, you earned my eternal respect that morning)…we then carried people up a hill after our plane went down while being chased by cannibals, canoed across a lake to stay the night on an island with only our sleeping bags and some food to cook over the very homemade fire. No tent while there are spiders the size of our fists walking around, you say? Heck yes. But weren’t you nervous they were going to eat you, you say? After swimming under the full moon in the absolutely gorgeous lake and hanging out with amazing people all night by the camp fire..bugs were the last thing on my mind. J  Haha Oh man, I am having the time of my life so far..and the crazy part is that this is only the beginning. I’d love to tell you more about this week so far but it will have to wait till my next blog…everyone loves anticipation, right?! Basically, God is good, life is good. I miss you all like crazy, can’t wait to spend as much time with you as possible the next 2 weeks! Love you!
