Oct 1, 2014 – on bus from Panama to Costa Rica
Its been a month on the race and I’m trying to process everything. Here’s a list of what I feel God has been showing me so far…
Be Humble
It’s not about me, or even the people we’re serving – its about God. Things like possessions don’t matter. Yeah I think my photography is beautiful – but its a gift from God. The pictures should honor Him, not myself or talents.
Be Open
Our testimonies are part of our story created by God. Our testimonies help others whether we realize it or not. It can also help you process your experiences by other perspectives and being asked questions you’ve never thought of.
Be Silent
God has a voice and he wants to speak too. He doesn’t want to just listen to your list of prayer requests and thanks. Be still and He will speak. If you don’t hear Him, don’t stop pressing because He wants you to run for Him. He will give you the desires of your heart, so keep after Him.
Be Hungry
God wants your first of everything – wake up an hour early craving Him. He will always be waiting for you to have coffee with Him.
