Preparation

It is an eleven month, eleven country mission trip. I will be traveling with fellow believers to various countries (we know beforehand), to share the happy gospel of Jesus Christ! This is not your ordinary 2-week mission trip; World Race is an intense, out of the norm adventure. It is for young people (ages 21-35) who are healthy, growing believers ready to see how Jesus can use them to walk in the gifts he has promised we would have when filled with Holy Spirit. It’s an opportunity to risk, to dare to believe Papa is who he says. It’s a brave leap into the unknown, it’s pursuing him and abandoning comfort. It’s jumping into his heart and partnering with him in bringing his love, hope, joy and life into daily life, into the world and to his very own. This will be through a variety of actions: street ministry, painting, shoveling, cooking, playing with kids, feeding hungry, giving hugs, cleaning, leading a VBS, etc..

Will you partner with me? 

I will be in cultures I am not familiar with, encountering people so different from me (but at the core we are all the same) every day, I want to be so tuned into Holy Spirit that all questions of doubt and fear are simply not worth hearing. I want to be bold in sharing this joy that Jesus has sparked deep in my bones. I need you to encourage and keep me in your prayers. I cannot do this alone. Papa God has made us his kids and brought us together (we are the body of Christ, I need eyes when I am a mouth; I need legs and joints if I am a foot. I need arms and hands when I am a torso.)
