The Lord told me I need to further humble myself. So here we go.

A few months ago I obediently listened to The Lord and gave up the money from my savings account…. All of it. (Check out blog here: http://andreachvatal.theworldrace.org/?filename=going-broke-for-the-lord) I was putting my “plan B” in front of His “plan A”, and just getting in my own way. I thought after the race I would buy a car, get a job ASAP (students loans, man…), and pay for the last class I need to take for my bachelors degree. But The Lord told me He had bigger and better things for next year. He told me to let go and get rid of my “plan B” to make room for His “plan A”. I took the leap of faith and donated all of my savings to fellow World Racers. After donating it I have seen so much fruit from giving over the control to Him! The trust in Him being my provider has grown exponentially over the last two months!! But now I am at a cross road…

I have no money! Ha! That is logically what happens when you give your money away. But I am now unable to do some of the “funner things” on this trip, and also purchase the daily things. This month we are in the Phang Nga region in Thailand. There are so many life experiences to be had, but I went broke for The Lord. He has been pushing me to go and ask people for help and support. This is a huge struggle for me; asking for others’ for help.

So, can you help me? Can you bless this journey with a donation? It would help purchase the daily needs such as toothpaste, snacks, etc. or it would help with fun lifetime experiences, such as riding an elephant, going to the beach, or walking on a jungle rope trails. I have three more months before I return home, so any amount would be helpful! I know The Lord will provide for everything He wants me to experience 🙂

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you all! Everyone who has supported me in my fundraising over the past 1+ year, and last month with my personal money. With your generous donations, $150 came in last month! Wow!! With those funds I was able to ride an elephant through the jungle, go boating in Phang Nga Bay, canoe through caves, swim in a waterfall, and enjoy delicious local coffee!

Thank you so much! We have two more months to go on this adventure. Please consider making a donation for my last two months, Cambodia and Vietnam. Many blessings!
