In hopes of being fully funded by the time I leave on January 6th, my dear friend Jen is hosting a fundraiser for me. It will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at 15734 Foliage Ave in Apply Valley in the townhome’s clubhouse. This event is open to the public so please feel free to swing by and bring anyone whom might be interested in learning more about the World Race.
There will be a silent auction with some of the items being: a signed photo of Minnesota Vikings player #84 Cordarrelle Patterson, 2 Guthrie Theater tickets, 2 Minnesota Swarm game tickets, Noodle’s and Company “Around the World” noodle tasting experience, artwork by a local artists, various restaurant gift cards, and more coming every week! We will also be having a raffle for a gift card basket! Throughout the evening I will be sharing information about the organization I am going with (Adventures in Mission, www.adventures.org), the mission trip I am going on (The World Race, www.theworldrace.org), and my own personal journey and interests (www.andreachvatal.theworldrace.org).
There will be snacks, goodies, and beverages! Please come by to learn more about The World Race, and to support a great cause!!
Update: WE RAISED OVER $1,000!!!! This covered the entirety of my vaccinations, medicines, with more to go to my $16,250 end goal.Thank you to everyone’s donations and support. God is good.
