the things blog. a halfway-through-the-month roundup of all the “things I’m…” enjoy.
reading
- The Art of Racing In The Rain, Garth Stein. One of my all-time favies, I finished this quick-read in 2 days, crying through most of the last half. Again.
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling. So good. All the dang books are.
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, J.K. Rowling. Because you can’t just read ONE of the books. You must read the entire series. Duh.
- A Dance With Dragons, George R. R. Martin. I only just got it from my squadmate Jah-Jah, and I only just started it, but the second I re-entered that world, I. Was. /Am. Hooked.
- A Year of Biblical Womanhood, Rachel Held Evans. Lent to me from my teammie-for-the-month Hannah, it is SO GOOD. A blogger experimenting exactly what the title says, the author is easy-reading, relatable, and fun. This is the book we read together as ladies at the end of every day.
