Where to begin….

Well I would like to inform you I have officially completed the worldrace and I am more than thankful for all the support and prayer that all of you have given me. I truly couldn’t have done this without you,  so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This year has been transformational so the transition back to my old routines has been a bit weird. I think one of the hardest things has been actually relying on others instead of being as independent as I was before. Being home with no job and no car is stretching, however God is showing me how faithful He is in providing. My friends and family have made time to get me to the doctor and to help me get other errands done. Sacrifice is a choice and it’s a powerful way to love others.

Another intersting part of transition has been spending alone time. Throughout this year, I learned how valuable alone time with the lord and with myself truly is. Before the Race, I would try to be with people all the time and at points I forgot to rest and recharge. Now I have gained a healthy balance of spending time with others and spending time by myself.

As I have been processing this year, I have realized that  I have grown in my identity in Christ. I have come to a healthier understanding of who I am. Today I can confidently say that I AM a righteous woman of God, I AM faithful, and I AM Bold and couragous. The Lord renewed my mind and gave me a stronger foundation in Him. This year I did things I have never done in my life, I taught sermons, I prayed for people to experience healing and they did, and I lead with vulnerability which allowed for more inner healing than I knew I needed. I am in awe of the way God used me this year. He showed me how much bigger He is and how much more He has for me and all His children.

I’m still in a processing time of all that happened during this year and if you are interested in knowing more of my year, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected] or call me. It would be an honor to talk through some of the events that happened On the worldrace.

I’m excited to share I have been accepted to a non profit Christian organization called “Teachbeyond”. I will be leaving next year to teach English to an improvised community for a year and a half. I would appreciate your prayers and support as I begin to prepare for the next season God is preparing for me. I will posting a blog soon about where and when I’m going and how you can be a part of my new journey.
