THE DAY HAS COME!! I have stuffed my life for the next year away in my 58 L backpack and I’m finally headed up to Atlanta for the first part of my journey! Launch is TOMORROW and this is where, I will be reunited with my squad AKA my new family and do some last minute preparations before leaving for India. I’m excited, anxious, scared; I’m prepared and unprepared all at the same time.
However, what I know is that The Lord does not call the equipped but equips the called. I have lived to understand this the past 6 months as I prepared for the World Race. I NEVER imagined I would be here today, but I know it is because my Lord has a perfect plan for me. This year something major changed for me, I FELL IN LOVE with HIM ! This year, yes is to go serve other, but also for OUR relationship to grow; to fall more in love with my creator and discover on another level, who I am and my purpose.
I am so honored to have family, friends, and even strangers who have partnered with me to send me on this calling. Words cannot describe how thankful I truly am for each of your donations and prayers. I’m eager to see what is to come and share my experiences with all of you. Thank you so much!
