A journal entry from January 6th:

I sit here in a room with 2 people from India, 2 South Africans, 2 Dutch women, 3 Thai people, and 6 Americans. We are all here for the same reason; to serve the Most High God. We all come from completely different places, with completely different cultures, and speak completely different languages, but we are here unified in God’s presence. I am so overwhelmed by the love of God that has individually reached us all and brought us together. I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to worship His name with with believers from all around the world. God is giving me the knowledge of the power or prayer and the desire to worship him that I’ve never had. I have never been so content to dwell in His presence and yearn for His peace and truth.

Romans 8:38

“I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

What a novel idea.
