I firmly believe we get an invitation by God every day to really live. It’s not an invitation wrapped in a letter with a postage stamp. It’s wrapped in a burning sunrise, and the chirping of birds. It’s welcomed in by a roommates “hello,” and the smell of coffee. It’s written out to everyone and anyone. The good life is not found in a life filled up, but rather, in a life poured out. I truly believe this. But sometimes we say no to this beautiful invitation by refusing to give thanks, let go of fear, release our plans, or forgive others. We grip so tightly to these things because we are trying to protect our life, but in reality, we are giving up the opportunity for life. For months, I have felt God inviting me on this World Race adventure. For months, I have said no and pushed the invitation under a pile of clothes. But God is faithful, and when I try to hide he bends down to my hiding spot. He lifts my head up to that world map in my room, and he whispers, “Let’s go do that together.”
Here I am months later, and here is where you come in. I am inviting you to join me on this grand adventure. This cannot be done with out you, I’m serious. I need you financially, emotionally, and spiritually. A real life is surrounded by a cloud of witnesses on Heaven and on earth. Hallelujah. I am also inviting you to say yes to what God has placed on your heart. What is holding you back from really living? Let me give you a piece of advice from a 21 year old. If your dream doesn’t scare you, it’s not big enough.
