Amazed…. over the last week I have begun sharing the start of this journey with family and friends and the overwhelming response of love, excitement and prayers has left me… amazed!
I've always known how blessed I am and the initial response to me announcing the next chapter of my life has reinforced that. Each of you are an amazing gift from God and I hope that I can bless each of you through this journey as much as you've blessed me. Please know that I'm doing this journey for you, because of you, and through your support both prayerfully and financially. Although these 11 months will contain some of the best experiences I've ever had they will also contain some challenging and discouraging experiences; THIS is where you come in. As you follow my journey, prayers and words of encouragement will be treasured and will provide me the hope and encouragement I need to stay strong and positive 🙂
Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I'm gonna miss y'all like crazy; but thank goodness for internet! As a former Racer said to me, "You may not be able to flush a toilet, but you've got the internet!" And we'll use it a lot so Skype, email, Facebook are all great means of communication 🙂
