Walk by faith, not by sight (Heb. 11:1)! God spoke to my heart from day 1 that He has called me on this mission and that He will provide. I have been tested to believe this as there is so much work to be done even in this preparation time- paperwork, deadlines, all the financial support, etc. Not knowing how things will work out, but believing God is a recurring theme throughout His Word! Whenever concerns or worry creep in, I have to put those thoughts to death and instead claim what God has told me- that He WILL provide! He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6)!
He IS providing in awesome ways! My two primary needs are spiritual backing/prayer warriors & financial support. My two church families as well as many friends and family have been so generous and excited to be a part of this ministry! He says that He will open the floodgates of heaven to pour out on us blessing when we give back to Him (Mal. 3:10)! He wants to see where our heart is, which is evident by how we use the resources He has given to us! Support raising is definitely a time of testing of my faith as well as a neat time to see God carry through and meet the need. It also serves the purpose of sharing with others what He is doing and ways they can get involved!
Prayer warriors- you are cutting through darkness and pushing back the devil and his wicked schemes! We fight not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil (Eph 6:12). Thanks all of you who have prayed over me and over this year and have spoken truth over my life! This past week many have laid hands on me and prayed- I know that there is tremendous power in that & it makes the devil tremble! Some friends prayed over me right before leaving and – wow!- the presence of the Lord was in that place! I was overwhelmed with His love and His pouring out of blessing and strength! Thank you all so much for your encouragement & spiritual covering, as I know the biggest battles will be fought in the spiritual realm!
Each of you who have allowed God to speak to your heart to get involved in some way and who have responded to that, thank you SO much!! What a blessing you are to me and to people around the world as He multiplies your support and uses it in ways far greater than I can even imagine right now! Without your prayers & financial support, this amazing mission that God is going to use to reach people literally all around the world would not be able to happen! I praise the Lord for you & will be praying that He will pour out blessing on you!
