It’s our last night here in Thailand, I’m sitting in the common room at our hostel here in Bangkok watching all of the traffic speed by outside, reflecting on our time here this month and thinking about what God holds for us in the months to come.
This month has been one of those months which will not be easily forgotten. I’ve been able to meet so many amazing people and make so many wonderful friends who will hold a special place in my heart forever. I’ve eaten some crazy foods (including a grasshopper), swam with elephants, jumped around a classroom full of 8 year olds for an hour teaching them English, cut hair for the friends we’ve made, and have experienced The Lord’s beautiful, amazing, magnificent creation here. But the most important thing this month was sharing the love of Christ to the people and working alongside our brothers and sisters here. God is doing something amazing in Thailand and I’m so privileged to be a part of it. The people are slowly but surely being drawn closer to him and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen here in the future.
Thailand is one of the most amazing countries I’ve ever been to and I hope to return someday. But until then, we have to keep moving forward.
Tomorrow morning my squad will be heading to Cambodia for month 8 of this crazy, amazing, wonderful race. My team, Righteous Oaks, will be in the town of Poipet for the month which is right on the boarder of Thailand and Cambodia. As of right now we’re not quite sure what we’re doing for the month as far as ministry goes but we are excited to keep discipling and doing God’s work any way we can.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers so far and please pray for our month coming up in Cambodia.
