Getting ready to leave for 11 months has not been the easiest thing to process, I’ve realized in the past few days. Saying goodbye to my friends and family, and packing has been difficult and very overwhelming. What I decided to do, on the way from Raleigh to Atlanta, is stop and listen to what The Lord had to say to me, and this is what I heard:
Love
Just love
Love like you couldn’t even imagine
Because I am giving you the strength
And I loved you first
Have grace
Everyone needs it including you
So give it abundantly
Let go
I’ve got you
No matter what happens
I will be with you
And I will be with your loved ones
Stop worrying
Don’t worry about tomorrow
Tomorrow will worry about itself
Rest in me
Before you close your eyes at night
Give it all to me
And I will give you rest
Be free
You are free to live for me
So live with complete abandon
Be courages
Remember what I said?
I am with you wherever you go
So go with courage
These words have given me the peace that I needed right now.
For everyone who may be going through a difficult time or a huge transition in life, I hope these words are encouraging to you just as they were to me.
