Dear friends and random internet stalkers 🙂 :
As you may know my life has taken an interesting turn recently; in the form of an opportunity to spend next year working overseas in missions. The opportunity is through Adventures in Missions where I will get to travel to 11 different countries spending one month in each while working alongside local missionaries.
I will be leaving in April of 2016 and traveling to Eastern Europe, North Africa, Central Asia, Southern Asia, East Asia,and South East Asia. All of these countries are located in the 10/40 window where many of the world’s least reached people live and where the need is great.
The hard part is that I will need to raise $18,000 to go on this trip. That pays for all of my expenses, including travel, food, lodging, everything, but is still a daunting amount of money for me to raise!
The quote that keeps coming to mind is that it takes a village to raise a child. I think I’ve finally been challenged to attempt something that I just can’t do alone. Because let’s keep it real, I can’t do this on my own.
God has gifted me with an amazing Christian community. The best village any girl could ask for. And I am asking for your support. God has called us to go. And you may not be able to, but I can. Let me be your hands and feet.
You can support me in two different ways. The first and most important is prayer. This year is not only going to be an amazing adventure but it will also be a year full of attacks from Satan. And I need your prayer to strengthen me on this journey.
The second is to support me financially. I cannot raise the funds I need on my own. But something as small as committing to pay $50/month for this year can make a huge difference for me on this journey. If you would like to donate there are 3 different ways:
