So this is it, my last day at home! I leave tomorrow and with a ton of excitement and a little anxiousness strapped on my pack, I am ready. It is hard to believe I could even fit anything else in my pack…but those just snuck on in.
I have been thinking about what I will do on this trip and what God will do to me and show me. So I wanted to share these with you all. All I have to say is…here we go!
I WILL:
· Be open, honest, and vulnerable
· Listen for God’s prompting
· See miracles
· Be open to change: Just because I haven’t seen God work in some ways does not mean it isn’t true
· Be adventurous
· Let go of my fears
· Learn from my teammates
· Not be afraid to not be in control
· Look like a fool for Christ
· Love on all of God’s children
· Live like a “granola girl” (my small group’s title for an outdoorsy girl)
· Lay my life down at the cross daily
· Live in community
· Shed my tears all over the world
· Be a prayer warrior for family, friends, and my ATL singles group
· Be frustrated, hurt, and confused…but never give up
· Follow my LORD wherever HE takes me!
