Dear Family and Friends,
I have exciting news about what God has been doing in my life! As many of you know I have a heart that is always searching for where God is leading me and to become the woman God desires me to be. I have been on this journey my entire life and I pray it never ends. God has led me to the next part of my journey which will be an 11-month mission trip called The World Race.
The World Race is through an organization called Adventures in Missions. There will be over 30 young adults broken into 5 teams, ministering in 11 countries around the world. This will be a time of sharing the love of our Savior through a variety of ministries, living a life of simplicity depending on God, and living in community with one another as Jesus and the disciples did. This trip will open my eyes and give me the opportunity to serve people in ways I never have before. My goal is to trust God will guide me and show me how to be His vessel of love to the world. I could not be more excited for the chance to love the unloved, to see the unseen, and to share the joys of Christ with the world.
I cannot prepare for this trip alone. I need both prayer and financial support. I am looking for 15 people to commit to pray for me and my team every day of my trip. I also need financial support. The total cost of the trip is $13,800, plus extra to cover health insurance and other expenses. I am looking for people who will partner with me in ministry by making a monthly financial commitment or a one-time donation. I have calculated that if 8 people committed $100 a month, 8 committed $50 a month, and 8 committed $25 a month, I would meet my goal! Would you pray about supporting me either through prayer or financial gifts?
I have enclosed a response card and pre-addressed envelope, which invites you to share in this ministry. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions. Including the enclosed card will provide AIM with all necessary information. You can also contribute online for one-time or automatic monthly withdrawals. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures in Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts may be tax deductible; please consult your tax advisor.
Every day I become more excited about the amazing adventure that God has called me to. I will not be the same Amy McAllister when I return. I pray that you will join me on this journey and allow God to change your heart as well.
