This month, we are working with Gospel Center Church, here in Kigali, Rwanda. We are preaching at the hospital, post office, and the church. We are also teaching an English and doing door-to-door evangelism.

After arriving in Rwanda, I began fasting to get my heart right with God. After the second day, God spoke to me in a dream. He showed me a women in the church who was in need of a job. I saw
her hair, a very distinct, and she was wearing a yellow, green, and
blue African print dress. He told me that I had to pray over her.
It was 4:30am when God woke me from my sleep and said, “Remember what I showed you. I want you to speak it out in church tomorrow.” I replayed it over and over again in my head trying to remember it, because I was too tired to find my journal and write it down. The next day, I was
so nervous during the day wondering if she would be there. I was
going to preach that night, so I had the opportunity to speak it out.

At church, I looked around and saw so many women with similar hair styles but not quite right. There were only two women wearing African print dresses, but they didn’t look like this woman. Then a woman came up to sing; it was her. After I finished preaching, I asked if there was a woman in the congregation looking for  a job. Josephine stood up; it was her. She came forward and I prayed for her. After church finished, I went up and asked her if she was really looking for a job, just to double check. She told me she had been looking for awhile and had been discouraged. I told her I saw her in my dream and God sees her too. She excitedly said, “God knows who I am!”  (My sermon was about who am I? and who we are in Christ.) She was so happy and encouraged! I was encouraged! God is SO GOOD!!

She told me that she believed she would have a job before we leave Rwanda. Indeed, less than a week after we prayed together she got a job. She starts Monday.

God knows us. He knows our needs. I am so grateful when God uses me…I am blessed!
