Hello, and welcome to my World Race blog! Here’s 11 things about me:
1. I love kids! I work at a school, teach Sunday school, lead 2 youth groups, and am friends with a bunch of teenagers!
2. You may have guessed from #1, I love teaching/leading and learning.
3. Also probably apparent from #1, I love my church and my God! (this should probably have been first…)
4. I have pretty much grown up in a self-imposed Christian bubble…(switched to homeschool in 9th grade, Christian colleges, Bible camps, jobs at places I know Christian people, etc.)
5. I am a cat person. Grown up around dogs, but love my cuddly cats.
6. There was a time in my life that I wanted to be a lepidopterist (butterfly scientist).
7. I have been to Columbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, and driven through Austria and Canada.
8. I have two sisters who are amazing! (Love you guys!) and no brothers.
9. I love to read. If I could do that all day every day, I would be a happy person.
10. I am a recovering picky eater…we will see how that goes on this adventure…
