This week has been a week of preparation. I’ve got my list together of all the things I need to have for the 11 months overseas. It’s pretty overwhelming. At some points I had the thought of, “Can I really do this? This is going to require so much money and so many things,–” only to be immediately interrupted by God, “I am with you. Spend time with Me.”

Sometimes you just have to put your list for supplies and appointments down, and get yourself in the presence of the Lord. It’s amazing how His peace and joy fills your heart and how fear and doubt exit the building. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.

In Matthew 6: 31-34 Jesus says, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is it’s own trouble.”

I just have to praise the Lord for his goodness and faithfulness, for he is taking care of me! Really, no detail is too small to Him. He knows what you need and He will see fit to take care of His children. Would The Lord call you, and then leave you hanging? Definitely not! I thank you Jesus for how you are providing for me and how You love me.

I read a quote the other day that said, “Imagine meeting someone who understood even the dustiest corners of your soul.” I thought, ‘Yeah, those are the best kind of people. It would be so awesome to have someone who understood me so well.” And then I heard His voice tenderly speak in my heart, “I do. I understand the dustiest corner or your soul. I made you, I know who you are. And I love you.” I was made speechless as I realized just how much God knows me, sees me, and loves me. He knows the dustiest corners of our souls. He loves you, sees you, knows you. Let that sink in for a moment.

I imagine there are people all over the world who are stuck in life. They are hurting, in need, troubled, trying to find hope and life in worldly pleasures, worshipping idols, enslaved to spirits and their own addictions. Life is difficult. They are desperately looking for something more; to be set free from bondage–They are looking for a Savior.

The Lord Jesus Christ–He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I want to tell the whole world about Him. How He died for them, and loves them, and forgives them. If they would accept Him, and believe on Him, they will be saved! I want Christ’s love to so fill up my heart that it overflows from my life, and He can use me as His vessel, to share His love to anyone whose path crosses with mine.

Love. Love is what changes people. God is Love. The two commandments are these: to love The Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. And the second, to love your neighbor as yourself.

You are precious in his sight. He is the Mighty One who will save you; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing!
