Friends and Fam,

I am now in Thailand! My squad (all 40 of us) had a week-long debrief together in Bangkok. It was a week of debriefing the past two months, preparing for Thailand spiritually and culturally, and resting. My team of six arrived in Pattaya several days ago. We will be working with the Tamar Center, which is part of YWAM Ministries. Tamar Center is a center for help and healing for the women stuck in prostitution. They offer life skill courses, teach English, and help women find their destiny in Christ. My team will be helping these women and will be going into bars to minister to the women still in prostitution. That said, this month is going to require a ton of prayer. I am very excited to see what God has in store for Thailand. I know it’s going to be challenging, heart-breaking, and rewarding all at the same time.

Malaysia was a difficult month for my team. We were never with the same ministry or church for more than three or four days. We were constantly packing up our backpacks to head to a different place. It was tiring meeting new people almost every day and then saying goodbye to them right away. All of this caused our team to be exhausted the majority of the month. Though it was rough, God did some awesome things in my heart.

If you want to know more about it, read my last blog entry entitled “Freedom.”

Update on My Financial Needs

Current Support Amount:   $11,730
Amount Needed:   $2,570
Grand Total Amount:   $14,300

Once again, I cannot thank you enough in this area! I could never do this on my own. I appreciate you all so incredibly much.

Pray…

There are around 20,000 prostitutes in Pattaya alone. Thailand is 94% Buddhist. There is a desperate need for revival in this city and in this country. Pray that God would reveal Himself to prostitutes, to strippers, to the men who travel here just to purchase women for a night. Pray that my team will be a light everywhere we go. Pray that my team and I will have boldness to speak the love of Christ. Pray that walls would be torn down, that eyes would be opened to see their need for a Savior. Pray that the enemy would not have a stronghold with my team. Pray for our health and safety. Pray that I will continue to discover who I am in Christ and that God will reveal more of Himself to me.

Thank you for all of your prayers. It seems like I say this a lot, but I really could not do this without all of your prayer support and encouragement. I consider myself extremely blessed to have all of you uplifting me and my team to the Lord regularly. So thank you for everything! You are so appreciated. Also, I love receiving emails from home that tell me how you all are doing. So if you’d like to update me, I’d LOVE to hear about your lives! I miss you all! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
