Gifts. Day in and day out, I am reminded that our God gives GOOD GIFTS ALWAYS. Often times, I tend to forget. I forget that the gift that I have been given today will be even better tomorrow because that is simply who God is. Every day gets better and better. Always! He never stops and will never! It is against His nature. He takes care of us and provides in every way possible!

This past week overseas has been incredible! Every day, I begin to float a little higher. I think, can it truly get any better? Then, God does something mind boggling!
The gifts began flowing for me in San Francisco when Aimee’s family picked me up from the airport and blessed me with one last yummy American meal. Then onward to Taipei, one incredible missionary family, the Robert’s, picked us up from the airport at 7 a.m. They hosted us for the entire day, blessing us left and right with Taiwanese culture. Then, as it was almost time to depart, they handed us (Aimee and I) a love offering– which would end up paying for all our pre-house hunting lodging plus more. Whoosh! Perfect picture of the Acts church being the church: the body taking care of each other. I left the country speechless and blessed beyond all compare, but there were still so many more good gifts ahead.

We arrived in Thailand exhausted and excited for a bed to lay our heads on. The next day, Aimee and I went to WonGen Kafe to meet up with a World Race Debrief and a few WR Alumni friends. During one of the sessions, I headed upstairs, where to my surprise, I found my beloved friend and sister Noy (named changed). If you’ll remember, this is the girl who used to work in the Red Light District, came out, loves Jesus and just left recently to attend a Discipleship Training School with YWAM. She screamed and tears began flowing from her eyes. Noy could not believe that I was standing before her. I mean, I could not believe I was standing before her, my beloved sister. (more to come on this in another blog) PRECIOUS GIFT!

Not only was I blessed by the presence of Noy, but the Squad fed us a few delicious meals. Can life really get any better here in Thailand?! Wow!
I wish that I could tell you firsthand all the miraculous gifts that He has poured out. From placing the right people in our paths to having the right transportation to providing a motor bike which led to an incredible friendship with a young American married couple. All of this and more within just one week! I know that Papa God provides for all His children, but I never would have thought in these ways! I am simply in Awe.
Lastly, there is the story of the housing that I will be living in for at least the next year, but I will save that God orchestrated story for another blog…
Moving to another country really highlights how much God truly does take care of us. Always! In the hard times, He is there. When all Hope is lost, He is there ready to restore…to give us what we need, good gifts. He is in the business of pouring out blessings. Let him shower you…simply let go and give it to Him. He is GOOD ALWAYS and takes care of His children! I am choosing to rest in who HE is, His truths instead of worrying about the cares of the day. Won’t you?
