My bags are packed, I'm ready to go…
Let me tell you, it is hard to pack your life for 2 years into just a few bags. Yes, for the World Race I managed to fit things into one hiking pack…but I think this is somewhat different. I am in one stable place as opposed to jumping from country to country every month. My main issue is that I would much rather take things that I already have rather than buying them somewhere else. It only makes sense, right?! Of course it makes sense, but tell that to my weight limit of 50 pounds per checked luggage!

look at those beasts!
Let me amuse you for a second. First time around, my 1 of 2 checked bags weighed somewhere around 70 pounds. Oops, no wonder it was a little hard to carry down the stairs. After taking items out that can be purchased in Chiang Mai, I finally managed to end with a whopping 49.7 pounds. Yes, it just made the cut!
My travel days will be comical as I lug around two checked bags and 2 carry on. It is going to be work out central with all my bags totaling somewhere around 150 pounds. Score!
I'm leaving on a jet plane, and I'm not for sure when I will exactly be back again…
In less than one week I will be on a plane Thailand bound for two years! It is hard to believe that it is already here, but then again this is what I have been striving towards for a while now. I have officially been home a little over 1 year from the World Race making me due to head out again.

It is incredible to see God line up all the details. From providing a missionary family in Taiwan to host us during our 13 hour layover to staying with one of the January 2012 WR Squads at YWAM Guesthouse in Chiang Mai, God's got our backs…ALWAYS! What an awesome reminder of how He gives good gifts to His kids! Amen!

Taipei, Taiwan
I am not quite fully funded with monthly supporters, but I know without a doubt that God has it! He reminded me a few weeks ago with an anonymous gift of $238. The night before this gift showed up in my support account, I was crunching the numbers and this was the number that I had left to raise in monthlies. Sure enough the next morning this amount, $238, showed up in my account. What a BEAUTIFUL reminder that God's got it. He will provide through y'all and I TRUST HIM. Thanks Papa God!
So THANK YOU all so much for believing in what God is doing in Thailand and for believing in all that God has placed within me! I cannot wait to share more God stories with y'all while on the field! Until then, continue praying for preparation and August 27th when my travel day begins! Much LOvE!

Thank You
