Countless times, I have seen the healing hand of God around the world. The other day we arrived at our ministry site early in the morning with high hopes for a rest day. (We had been exhausted from the prior days of travel.) God had other plans for us that day and I am sure glad He did.

The Holy Spirit had placed our contact’s, Peter, best friend on his heart. You see, this man’s wife had been in a bad accident 7 months prior and was paralayzed from the waist down. This couple was in great need of encouragement, but most of all the healing hand of God.
Anu when we went back to visit

We arrived at the place and saw Anu, the wife of Lao, bedridden. A heaviness and hopelessness surrounded her. We engaged in conversation with Lao and learned more about his family. Lao is a man on fire for God. Seven months of learning to take care of his wife and child began to take a toll on him. He was in need of hope. A hope that does not come from any human, rather from Papa alone.

Surrounding Anu and Lao, we began praying. The Spirit of God was so thick in that place. With my hand placed on her leg, I began to feel her muscles twitching as I declared restoration within the tissues. Prayer after prayer, tear after tear The Spirit was moving!
Lao and Anu

Her pain went from a ten all the way to a zero within minutes. Restoration was coming in her appetite. She was almost skin and bones because her stomach rejected most foods and liquids were not her friend. Then, with every ounce of energy she could muster up, she began to sit up all by herself. This was the first time in seven months that this was even possible. On top of that, with the help of her husband, she stood up for a few minutes.

Hope was being restored. The ultimate Physcian’s hand was at work.

When we went back a few days later, HoPe, jOy, pEACe filled the room. Anu was beaming from cheek to cheek, as she sat on the floor criss cross applesauced. Her appetite was being restored. Although she is not back to complete restoration yet, I know without a doubt that the day is coming when she will once again go dancing amongst the flowery fields!
