Some people say you are my twin, and I take it as a compliment because you are absolutely beautiful. You are strong and gorgeous spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. You handle situations with grace. You work hard in the gym, the classroom, and the kitchen. You sing angelically and speak with such wisdom. The Lord reveals himself to you and allows you to lead other women into more of Him.
My favorite was waking up in the morning and stumbling into the kitchen to find you reading the word at the counter, coffee in hand. You study the word and let it change you. You are always giving God the first fruits of your day and it shows in your smile the way He always meets with you. You pray unceasingly for your family and are such an example to me of what it means to literally be on your knees. You enter the throne room daily and have encounters with your Lord. You have the gift of intercessory prayer. The tears you’ve poured out in your prayer time won’t go to waste, The Lord holds them in His hand and they will water many seeds that have been planted in lives around you.
He delights in you and stares at you because He is so enticed with you. I am in tears writing to you because I am overwhelmed with the love the Father has for you. The Lord is so in love with you. You stand by your husband. You push him to make him better. You are a support to him. You give of yourself and then you give some more. You want everything God has for your kids. You are the best mom, friend, and role model I could ask for. I giggle when I think about your scrunched nose and how you would hold me tight in a hug and not let me go. Your laugh brightens the room and I just shake my head and smile when you cross your legs and lean over caught up in whatever made you laugh. I didn’t realize how much I would miss your constant presence until I went to college. I am so thankful you still invest so much in my life and I know you always will.
Your presence is loving and inviting. You seek to understand others. Nothing will stop you from making amends and humbling yourself and reaching out. I have learned to see the positive in every situation and the potential in every person because of you. You are an amazing teacher. You pour yourself out in to those kids. You are creative and intelligent.
You are a Romans 12 woman. You love sincerely. You hate evil and cling to what is good. You honor others above yourself. You are never lacking in zeal and you keep your spiritual fervor. You are joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. You share with those in need. You are one of the most hospitable people I know. Check out the rest of Romans 12! It is all about you mama.
You bear much fruit because you are connected to the vine. You are generous, compassionate, lovely, smart, kind, loving, and selfless. You are clothed in majesty. You are royalty, Nadene Marie, Daughter of the King.
I love you mama,
Amylynn
