The night after we arrived in Harare we got to go to a meeting where Brian and Pamela preached about the prophetic and we all received prayer and prayed over others.  I prayed, danced, sang, and encouraged others.  It was so filling and I went to bed soaking up God’s love.  It is really all about loving God and loving people. Check out 1 John 4:7-21.

In Rusape, Ngoni tied a tarp to two poles and people gathered just outside his house to have church.  Ngoni is 23 and been pastoring for two years.  His new church is called Generation One and he is apart of Brian and Pamela’s ministry, which is all connected to Iris ministries.  I have never seen church done like this.  They scream their praises and songs and dance like crazy.  Every time you hear Halleluiah, you Amen.  “Give me a J, give me an O, give me a Y, what does that give you?” “JOY” “There is Joy in the name of Jesus, there is joy in the name of Jesus!” This is repeated over and over.  Kids as young as 14 start songs and all the people join in.  They had time for testimonies and us racers got to speak a little about what was going on in our hearts.  I am just so thankful that God hears my thoughts and answers them before I even speak them out.  He is so good to me.  We sang and danced more and then we got to prayer over women, men, kids, and families.  One man, who the boys on our team found drunk early in the day, came to church and got saved!  He gave his life to Jesus right there in front of us!

In the bush, we were apart of an outreach night where Alan Hawkins ministered to the locals.  When we arrived Ashli pointed to the sky where we saw gray clouds in the shape of a hand.  We knew God’s hand was over this place.  After singing and dancing under the gorgeous heavens we listened to Alan preach and then watched the Jesus film in their Shona language.  26 people were saved before the movie even started and 3 people received some sort of healing by the end of the night! God is doing things here and this is the norm in Africa.  These people are so hungry for Jesus that they stood out in the dark in the cold for 2 hours and 45 minutes watching the film, and this is all after we arrived about 2 hours late because of typical African travel time.

side note: Love these dancing worshippers around here! I am bringing this whole dancing thing home with me!
