I wonder how many times that title has been used. I’m guessing it’s not the first time. Well, the time has come! Today my squad begins our journey to Zambia. This will be our first country to minister to. The past few days our squads have been in Atlanta preparing to leave. Today so far we flown to Detroit. From here we will take our first 8 hour flight to Amsterdam. At about 10am (their time) tomorrow we will take our second 8 hour flight to Nairobi, Kenya. We have a 12 hour layover there and then Saturday morning (their time) we take our final flight to Malawi. Finally we will take a bus ride to Livingstone, Zambia. This will be the ministry site for my team (Memo) and another team (Without Borders). From my understanding, we will be serving at a camp that teaches churches how to lead youth and children. I’m very excited to begin our time there and to see how God is working there!
Please be praying for teams Memo and Without Borders for unity and to listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. Pray that we would be patient during our travels and take the time to grow in our relationships. Also pray for safe travels for the next 4 days!
Thank you so much to all of you who have been supporting me! The journey has finally begun and I could not have gotten here without you!
