Last night my team was teaching English at the orphanage.

The night started with volunteers from the class reading the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15.
As the students read out loud in English their classmates read along in their Khmer Bibles.

Carl, who has an amazing gift of teaching and illustration, would explain the English words they didn’t understand and draw pictures to help them understand the story.
Check out that fattened calf ——-

After reading through and discussing the story as a group we got into small groups.

In my group Kathryn and I asked the girls what they learned from the story.

They learned that God was always there and that they needed to change sometimes and ask forgiveness and when they did God would always be there.

We also asked how they know God loves them.

The girls said that God gave them Jesus to die for their sins,
He gave them a home and food to eat,
                                                         He speaks to them and
God has BIG LOVE for them.

God has BIG LOVE for them.

Such a simple statement.
         But such a profound truth.

And they don’t just say it.
                     They understand it.

God has a great BIG LOVE for them.

And they also know the truth about you.

God has a great BIG LOVE for you too.
Do you believe?
Can you see God’s BIG LOVE for you in your life?
