**I wrote this blog in the first week of June and am just now posting it! Enjoy.. :)**
Halfway into something is an interesting place to be. You
find yourself really far from both the beginning and the end…a no-man’s land of
sorts.
I feel like being halfway through the race is like eating a
gigantic cheeseburger! (Bear with me…) You’re sitting there looking at the
plate, not quite full yet, but also trying to figure out how in the world
you’re going to eat that whole second half.
Ok, so maybe I’m just craving a cheeseburger. (Go eat one
for me if you’re reading this from the US. hehe)
But seriously, my brain and heart feel packed full of memories and
people and lessons from the past five plus months. I love and cherish all of
it, but it will be interesting to see how I can possibly pack in another 5 and
a half months worth in!
This morning, I’ve been taking some time to think on all of
the people that God has brought me together with. It is good to take a breath,
and appreciate the experience so far. My heart feels stretched out around the
globe, and although is hard to love and leave so soon, it’s such a privilege to
share life with so many incredible, beautiful servants of God (even if for a
short time).
Here are some of the brothers and sisters who have grown
close to my heart. They have dedicated their lives toward showing Christ’s love
to those around them, and spreading His Kingdom on Earth. Please be praying for
their personal and ministerial needs.
