Opportunity of a lifetime

We have been given the opportunity of a lifetime. We have been  the opportunity to serve God, but even more than that an opportunity to know Him intimately. To be able to experience bits of heaven on earth, I couldn't think of anything better. As we have been chosen into an intimate relationship with Jesus we quickly learn how much He loves us , and how unworthy we are . As we grow more and more in this relationship God constantly unveils His purpose for us ! For me that is to be on the World Race !

What is our purpose on the world race? Our purpose is to live out the plan and purpose God has given and prepared for us . The world race is one way of doing that. Yes we desire to be here, but ultimately that desire has come from the Lord . Our desire on this earth is to know Him more and more intimately, to hunger for Him constantly so that we would overflow His love and spend so much time with Him that we begin to act, speak, and shine like Him . That is the same purpose for you, we are just doing it miles and miles apart. The beautiful thing about serving Christ is that there are so many different ways to do it , and they all hold the same importance and have the same outcome , which is for Christ to be glorified. Serving in Swaziland consists of many different things, such as playing and embracing children, praying for those we come into contact with, gardening and pulling weeds so that families can plant crops to provide food for their families, painting care points where kids come to learn about Jesus and eat a free meal ( possibly the only meal they will eat all day) , pulling up the floor of a building to be able to reconstruct it so that it may be used as a gathering place for the church to come together and worship God, putting on a Christmas party and play for the children and adults, serving food, cleaning hundreds and hundreds of plates and cups, putting together gift bags of the children's Christmas presents, serving juice to children, going to home visits and spending time with the locals and praying for any of their needs, picking up trash , putting out a fire , cleaning and bandaging wounds . Serving at home could be doing the same things I am here, or supporting and praying for those God has put on your heart that are out on the field.  Our desire is to serve Christ wholeheartedly no matter what that entails . I pray for you and I to serve Christ with everything we  have and that we may know the purpose He has given us here on this earth ! Right now my purpose has been to be sent out to spread His love to the nations ! What is your purpose ?

To all those that have supported us either through prayer , fundraising, or donating I want you to know that your part in this is equally important as those of us who have been sent out . God has called two parts either to send out , or to be sent. As this season we are the ones that have been sent out we want you to know thankful,we are for you .We would not be here without you , growing in our relationships with God, and spreading His name . We know that you are also growing in your relationship, with God for you have been obedient to the season He has called you to . I love that even as we are thousands of miles apart that we are one body , one heart , and one mind. That we are on this journey together , that anyone who hears the name of Jesus is because of you, that the healing that has happened and continues happening couldn't be done without you . I know sometimes we can feel obligated to give, or even feel like giving is mundane , but I want you to know how exciting and what a blessing it is . I challenge you to seek God and ask Him what His purpose is for you, and when He reveals that to you walk in it 🙂 !
